As Sports Day 2018 draws near here’s a report from RMS reporter Lubna Mendonca on the fierce preparations for the event that are going on in school .
In the mornings one can see the School House Captains shouting out marching commands to their houses with the hope of winning the marching shield for their house.The teachers have come up with a number of innovative drills and as D – Day nears,they feel relieved as they finally see their students perform their drills in synchonisation.There is a Discipline Shield too,that will be given to the most disciplined house at the end of all this and this keeps the students quiet and well behaved.The athletes practice hard every day for the races and relays,bettering themselves.Br Slattery Ground is abuzz with energy as the four houses Hayes,Slattery,Mulligan and O Farrell cheer the participants from their houses on to win the coveted Sports Shield.
